Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application RuckWell (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by RuckWell LLC. This privacy policy was last updated on September 10, 2025. Our privacy policy may change from time to time for any reason. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policies, feel free to contact us at any time.

Location Data
We collect and process location information when you track location-based workouts. We do not track your device location while you are not using the Application. But in order to use our core features (e.g., GPS activity tracking, etc.), it is necessary for you to permit us to track your device location while you use the Application. If you would like to stop the device location tracking, you may do so at any time by adjusting your device settings.

Health Data
With your permission, the Application may access certain health-related data from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). This may include, but is not limited to, weight, step count, heart rate, workout summary information, and biometric data collected during workouts.

This data is used exclusively within the Application for:

  • Calculating calorie estimates.

  • Providing in-app analytics and performance insights.

  • Enhancing the accuracy of workout summaries and training feedback.

No health data accessed from Apple Health or Google Health Connect is transferred outside of your device. All processing takes place locally on the phone.

For iPhone Users
Activity information is stored within the app on the iPhone and Apple Watch, sync'd with CloudKit, and passed to Apple Health. It is not stored or sent anywhere else unless specifically exported by the user from the app, or from Apple's Health system.

CloudKit: We use CloudKit to store and synchronize your activity data across devices. CloudKit is a service provided by Apple Inc. For more information about CloudKit's privacy practices, please visit https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

For Android Users
Activity information is stored on the phone and backed up with Google via Auto-Backup. It is not stored or sent anywhere else unless specifically exported by the user from the app, or from Google's Health Connect.

Data Deletion
RuckWell does not retain any user data on its own servers. All data generated by the Application remains on the user’s device or within the platform’s native backup and health services (such as iCloud, CloudKit, or Google Auto-Backup/Health Connect).

If you wish to delete your data, you may do so by:

  • Deleting the RuckWell application from your device, which removes all locally stored data.

  • Managing or removing any associated data stored in platform services (e.g., iCloud, CloudKit, Apple Health, or Google backups) through your device’s system settings.

The Application itself has no independent means to retain or recover your data once it has been deleted from your device or platform storage.
